Happy Chinese Luna New Year from MommyFeels celebrating with Chicken Bacolod (SM Sta. Mesa) to everyone! Even if we’re not Chinese nor half-chinese, here in the Philippines, we celebrate this holiday as well. What better way to have a celebration than with food?
I guess you can say, that this is, my first food review on #MommyFeels and the first things that I can say are: Simple food, yet to the point!
There were five (5) of us including Kheira, of course, and we ordered quite a few dishes. They were all delicious – best appetiser to get is the chicken skins and crablets, but unfortunately the crablets were gone even before I could take a snap at it! They were that yummy!
They have allege rice that’s too die for. Careful not to eat to much!! What I like most about Chicken Bacolod is their menu. The variety they have is great regarding the fact that they DO NOT serve pork at all. Which is what I love about this place, because personally I’d rather NOT eat pork. There are soo many things you can make without using pig in the ingredients – just ask Chicken Bacolod!
If you haven’t tried Chicken Bacolod I suggest you give it a shot! It’s no fancy shamncy restaurant, but the food is great and affordable! There are a lot of Chicken Bacolod branches through out the Metro, this one in particular is in SM Sta. Mesa. So if you’re in the area, do drop by for their infamous Chicken Bacolod. Definitely a thumbs up!
We came at the best time when they have a promo for this year’s Chinese new year. For every Php 1,000 dine-in transaction you get to pick an Angpao from the cute money tree they have. And guess what? I got a free tikoy!! A Happy Chinese New Year indeed! Promo only valid in this store branch
Another reason why this particular branch of Chicken Bacolod, is because of the ambience. Its quite different from the ones I’ve seen (so far) like the one in glorietta and market! market! plus its more quaint. They have a couple more promos coming up, also since Valentine’s day is just around the corner…
How fun, right?? Come celebrate your Chinese New Year with your family and loved ones at Chicken Bacolod SM Sta. Mesa and win some amazing prizes! And FREE chocolates on Vday! ♥

Belated happy Chinese new year! I haven’t been to Chicken Bacolod for some time now. Nice that they gave free tikoy to celebrate the occasion. 🙂

My father used to bring me to Chicken Bacolod’s small branch in Pasay Road, Makati near Anson’s. That was during the late 80’s or early 90’s. Hahaha. I think they serve tastier and more “orig” chicken inasal than the more popular food chain.

Free tikoy!!! Yay! I’ve never had any Chicken inasal or Chicken bacolod for that matter. Looks very tempting to try! Do they have a branch in Cavite or Alabang?
